CONFLICT RESOLUTION SKILLS

Are there just some people that are impossible to work with? Or, is there something you’re doing to inadvertently cause the conflict to escalate or fester? Many of us who have worked within teams have experienced the impact that conflict can have on the workplace. Left unchecked, it can create a very unpleasant working environment which can have negative effects on production and quality of work. Conflict and problem solving skills are desired attributes of a well-rounded team member. Being aware of your contribution to conflict, good and bad, is an essential step towards developing cooperation and team player skills. In this 1-day workshop we explore a variety of strategies and tools to navigate conflicts.

CREATING A CULTURE OF RESPECT

This interactive and informative session provides a framework to better understand what ‘sensitive’ and ‘respectful’ language and behaviors look and feel like in the workplace.

The 1/2-day workshop covers definitions of bullying and harassment, including the subtle and perhaps less overt behaviors that are also inappropriate. In this session we identify concrete actions to build a workplace culture of civility and respect.

Personality Dimensions

This fun, interactive workshop system uses an easy card sort and a short questionnaire to reveal your temperament and personality preferences.

Personality Dimensions uses four colours along with short descriptors and symbols to represent the personality and temperament preferences: Inquiring Green™, Organized Gold™, Authentic Blue™, Resourceful Orange™.

In this practical, 3-hour interactive format we’ll have fun and use colour as we create a common language of understanding of ourselves and others.

Because the content is presented in a more light-hearted manner you’ll quickly relate and remember it, which makes it time well spent!
